Primo’s Waltz – was written to celebrate the ethnic diversity of the Varzé family. We as a family ethnically represent Italian, French, Cree, Cherokee, Scottish, Norwegian, English, Ukrainian, Irish, German and I am sure other ethnic strains as of yet undiscovered. I used the minor pentatonic scale to represent the aboriginal side of the family, the minor scale to represent the European side and the chromatic scale to tie these ideas together. Primo’s Waltz is dedicated to our aunt Mrs. Geraldine Farnsworth and family.
